It reminds me that….
Underneath the tired eyes and sometimes cranky afternoons, there’s a family to treasure, and a real-life love story happening right in front of me.
And I don’t want to miss it. I don’t want another year to go by without capturing those smiles, that love, those people who mean so much to me. That’s why I became a photographer.
So I could provide an experience your family will never forget, and deliver photos that perfectly capture this season of life.
I’m a mom of two, military spouse, and family photographer + educator.
Like most moms, I first became interested in photography because I wanted to capture my childrens’ milestones as they grew up.
But it quickly turned into so much more than that.
Because my family can be having the most challenging, hectic day ever! But when we come home and the first thing we see on our wall is a portrait of us holding hands, dancing, and laughing in each other’s arms? It takes my breath away.

the number of times we’ve moved over the past 6 years. The life of a military family! My husband is an active Officer in the Navy, and our most recent relocation was from Florida to California in 2019.
The number of years I worked as an interior designer. This *might* be where I get my total love for portrait art and creating mood boards for my photography clients!
